Friends Forever

What a fun weekend! Dana and Michael got to come visit us and we had a blast! It was so great to see them. This was really the first time that Kaley was old enough to really interact with Michael which was fun to watch. I was surprised with how much parallel play they did! Well, there was also a lot of taking each others toys and learning to share but it was so much fun! Friday we just hung out around the house and let them play. Michael absolutely loved being chased by and chasing Bayla around the house. It was a fun day!

Then on Saturday Daddy got home so we hung out with him and then went to the pumpkin patch out in Decatur with Dana's sister and her nephew. Kaley was still a little young to participate in the hayride, bounce house, petting zoo or four wheeler led "train" ride but the boys really enjoyed themselves. Kaley just posed so mommy and daddy could take lots of pictures. That night we went to daddy's favorite restaraunt, Genghis Grill, and Kaley and Michael go to share their own bowl (FYI-kids under 2 eat free)! What big kids!

Sunday was more playing around the house and just relaxing. We really had an amazing time and we were so glad to share this special time with our good friends! Kaley got her first birthday present from Dana and Michael! It was a lighthouse wooden ring stacker and a Fisher Price pushable shopping cart which she absolutely loves! She already had a push toy but the grocery cart is by far her favorite! She is getting so good at walking with it. It's hard to believe that she could be walking any day now!

Well that is all for now, I don't want to bore you all with writing so let's get to the pictures.

First night, eating dinner.

Reading time before bed.

The next morning, playing with wooden spoons and metal bowls! WOOHOO, lots of noise!
Pumpkin Patch time! (Yes Kaley is eating hay!)

Kaley and her daddy!

Sweet girl with her pumpkin!
Pumpkins, Pumpkins, Pumpkins!

Last morning play time.

There were many other fun times but I can only post so many pictures. I think bath time was the favorite for both Michael and Kaley but we will save those pictures for an embarrassing moment like their first date or something.

Wishing you a day filled with love and laughter,

Silly Daddy

A special treat, two posts in one week!  Did you really think I wouldn't have pictures of Kaley from the wedding?  Come on now, you all should know me better than that.  Daddy just didn't know what he was talking about in that last post.  Anyways, enjoy!
I know I'm cute!
Mommy had to get a booty shot of my ruffled bloomers!
Come on already, I am ready to go!
Ok, so while you may think the night was all about me and how adorable I looked it really wasn't!  Here is a pic of Aunt Sally, the beautiful bride.

New addition to the family

Kaley officially has a new uncle. Uncle AJ was welcomed into the family last Saturday in a big way. The wedding was gorgeous and everyone had a great time. Kaley got passed around the entire night and she was wonderful. She just kinda went with the flow and everybody fell in love with our little angel. We were so caught up in all of the festivities that we didn't take any pictures at all. Hopefuly we will get some good ones from the wedding photographer.
Up next on our agenda is Kaley's big B-Day party. She will be 1 in exactly one month. I will have to make sure Mommy doesn't go too overboard with all of the decorations.
Here are some pics from our recent adventures and experiences.
