She LOVES her cows! Aunt Bethany and Uncle Brett got her the original cow and when that became her lovie and she wouldn't put it down or go anywhere without it Pop searched for another one on the internet. They stopped making them so we were fortunate that Pop can usually find anything on the internet! Now that she is a little older she is only allowed to have cow at nap and night-time but she loves that lovie like no other and would keep it with her 24/7 if she was allowed!

Todays prompt: Love to hate

I hate that my husband never buys new socks! He literally wears holes in to them (and then wears them for a little longer). I finally started to throw them away whenever I do laundry. This is the last pair left with holes and then I will be rid of them all! I figure if I just get rid of them then it will force him to buy new ones!

Todays Prompt: then and now

We are going stir crazy around here and it is definitely effecting the creativity. I struggled today and maybe part of it was not wanting to look at how much and how fast my babies are growing up! That might also be why I captured Kaley sucking her thumb...she may be a sassy little one but she is still my baby!

Day 2 prompt-how they look

My 3 going on 16 year old has developed her own sense of style and 'tude! I have no idea where she gets the sass from :) Do kids already know how to roll their eyes at this age because I am pretty sure that is what she was about to do because mommy wouldn't stop taking pictures! Love this girl and all the 'tude that she has!

The Joy of LOVE-1 (a little late)

My friend Rikki posted that she is joining up with willette's the joy of love this month for a FREE 28 day class. Just yesterday I was thinking that I had been slacking on photographing my family and when she posted this I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to get back into it. So anyways I took this from Rikki's blog explaining a little about what it is: "she will send an email a day with a photo prompt and mini-lesson, with the overall theme of LOVE. you can choose a spouse, child, friend, pet, or anyone you LOVE as your subject."

The prompt for day one was: what they do. I got started a day late and missed day one but luckily I had captured a few pictures yesterday of the girls playing in the snow and since that is what they do (play but not necessarily in the snow) I thought I would use one of those pics!

To be honest I have no idea what I am doing editing wise I have just been playing around with different things in Lightroom and PSE. For some reason I just thought the look of this gave felt cold and it was FREEZING! As for the actual shot...I wish I was more on her level and not shooting from above her so I could see up into her eyes more but it was so stinkin' cold (wind chill below zero) and I was just trying to get a few shots of the girls in the snow for the 2 minutes we were outside!
