Movie Monday

It is so much fun watching the girls' relationship as sisters develop each day! Kaley loves to play with Jaelynn and help out in any way she can. I am so thankful that Kaley is such a sweet, caring and loving big sister. I look forward to watching their relationship grow and change!

These are just a quick glimpse into our world!

Yucks

If you aren't into toddler potty stories stop reading now; however, this was just too funny not to share.
Kaley tends to narrate as she is going potty...
Kaley: "Mommy I went big yucks in the potty."
Mom: "Good job! Are you all done?"
Kaley: "No, I need still need to go little yucks."
Mom: "Ok."
Kaley: "First I need to go peepee because the big yucks are thirsty. Then I will go little yucks."
Who knew poop got thirsty??

Miscellaneous

After this I SHOULD be caught up on my blogging...for now! That being said these are just some random photos from the past couple of weeks that I haven't shared yet!

Little Miss Sassy Pants!
Bows, Elmo Panties and Light up flip flops...what more does a girl need?

Daddy is definitely going to miss these naps one day soon!

Big girl sitting!

I just couldn't resist seeing how Jaelynn looked in Kaley's DOC band.
Jaelynn at 6 months, Kaley at 5 months!

2 years later!

I will be doing something and turn around and find Kaley like this!

Daddy and his girl in their green stripes!
This was totally on accident but I had to get a pic!
(Please ignore the overexposure I was trying
something new and hadn't quite gotten it right yet.)

A few things for my memory bank...Kaley is just too funny lately! She is such an auditory learner and remembers ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING she hears. She never misses a thing (even when you think she isn't listening she is). I am amazed each and every day by the things that she knows and how quickly she picks up on things. This girl is definitely too smart for her own good!
~"When I was a little baby..."
~"Last morning" I did this (everything is 'last morning')
~Kaley how many _____ do you want? "Twentyfour five six seven eight"
~"Oh just gimme a break"
~"Rain, rain go away come again another day the old man is snoring, he went to bed and he bumped his head nd he couldn't get up in the morning." Notice anything??
~"No please" (Instead of no thank you)
~"Look me in the eyes" (When she apologizes for something we always maker her look us in the eyes)
~"Oh my goodness it's the most beautiful ____ I never saw!"
~"Shh, be quiet"
~"That would be a great idea!"
~When she is in a bossy mood and tells mommy or daddy to do something it goes something like this..."Mommy come get me out of my chair. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5..." This comes from us counting to 3 after telling her to do something to give her a deadline on when it needs to be done before timeout.
~"Oh sure!"
~"Probably" Ex: "Mommy, Hayden probably doesn't want to play with my toys."
~Mixes up almost and already. "Kaley do you need to go potty?" "I almost did."
~"I love you berry much"
~Sings "Father to the Kaley, Father to the Kaley" I really have no idea where this came from but she sings it every time we get in the car.

I have been telling myself that I needed to put down on paper/blog some of the things she has been saying but by the time I sat down to do it I forgot a lot of it so I will probably come back and add more throughout the next couple of days as the come to me.

Cousinly Love

First of many play dates with cousin Stella!

Jaelynn: "Finally, someone close to my size/smaller than me!"

Stella:"Umm, what is she doing?"

Checking each other out.

Oops! Stella's first battle wound!

Worn out from all that playing!

Fun in the Sun

I already posted these photos on FB but still wanted to post on the blog as well. We are loving the spring weather and the long daylight hours! It really gives us a chance to play outside; especially when daddy gets home from work. John just couldn't resist buying the velcro ball game from the impulse buy area at Old Navy and Kaley is having so much fun with it.

She loves her lawn chairs that Gramma and Gramps got her for her 2nd birthday!

Bayla being a good dog and "staying" while they throw the ball.
You can tell she wants that tennis ball.

This is my favorite!
I just love the sunglasses in hand as she takes it all in!

Mid throw...
Daddy is ready for it...

Ready, Set...

Throw!
So much fun playing (for Kaley and daddy) and capturing it in pictures (for mommy).

Better late than never?!

I can't believe it has taken me this long to finally post about our Easter weekend down in San Antonio. I will make the writing brief and the pictures many (since I already uploaded them). We went down to SA for my Grandfather's annual golf camp (all the grandsons ages (almost) 10 and up go down for a few days to golf, golf and golf!) which was also Easter weekend. We got to see everyone on my mom's side of the family except my Uncle Randy and the Mazurek's (Brett, Bethany and Marley). On Friday the non-golf campers went to the SA zoo and hung out at GiGi's house playing and dyeing eggs! Kaley loved spending time with her (2nd) cousins. We call them her cousins because most of them are closer to her age than mine and who really cares about the title...family is family! Saturday we had an Easter egg hunt with all the grand and great grandkids that are high school age and younger. After that it was just time to hang out with the family until the putting competition. On Easter Sunday Kaley got an Easter basket and got to hunt for more eggs! I can't tell you how much fun we had seeing everyone and how awesome it was to see the kids with my girls! It reminds me so much of when my brothers and I were younger and the cousins were babies!

Mama and baby at the zoo!

Granny enjoying her youngest granddaughter.
(You know she called dibs on carrying her!)

Savannah, Kaley and Caleb

Caleb and Kaley playing in the leaves.
He was so so sweet with her and she LOVES him!

Leaving the zoo with GiGi and Daddy.

Dyeing eggs.

Aunt Dana...what can I say?! Love her!

She wants to be just like her Uncle Lee!

Sweet Caleb reading to Kaley.

The final hunt!

Saying goodbye to Ash!

It is sad that I did not get one picture of my girls in their Easter dresses! Oh well...I think that is what I will have them wear to Gramps' Picnic in the Park so we will definitely have some great pics after that!

I plan to get caught up on my blog in the next couple of days so keep looking for more! (No promises.)
