So my father has decided that I need to re-title my Movie Monday posts to something like Monday Evening Edition since I usually post at the end of the day. He messaged me this morning at 8:30 wondering why I hadn't posted for Movie Monday! C'mon Pop, I have a toddler and a 9 month old...the only time I have to do anything is after they go to bed. So here you go, your Evening Edition of Movie Monday! First up a little game of big sister teasing little sister and some peek-a-boo.

Next up a 5 minute video! This is mostly for family because I am sure that most everyone else doesn't want to watch a 5 minute video but if you do, enjoy! This is the first time Kaley has given Jaelynn a bottle. She did a great job! Such a sweet and caring big sister.

Movie Monday-Skivies

It's MONDAY! Tonight as I was putting together the clips for Movie Monday I noticed that in about 90% of the videos I take of the girls they are in their "skivies". Hmm, something needs to change! You would think my children didn't have any clothes and if you have seen their closets you KNOW that isn't the case!

Movie Monday-Let's Jump

It's that time of the week...Movie Monday! This is another random clip movie monday. Kaley has been "jumping rope" with Bayla's leash lately so I finally pulled out my old jump ropes and cut one so it would be Kaley-size. Of course she does her own version of jumping but it is fun! She is pretty impressed with mom's cool jump rope tricks too. I can't believe I am actually posting a video of me jumping on the internet but had to show my mom I still got it (well some of it and not nearly as graceful as I used to be!). Jaelynn has also started playing baby games so I got some of the ever typical "So Big" on camera as well as a couple of "more" signs. Of course she does a modified sign but has done it multiple times to request more (food of course) yesterday and today! It is so exciting when they finally really start communicating their wants and needs without just crying or squealing. Looking forward to seeing her learn more signs and eventually start talking! Love my girls and love sharing them with you!

Movie Monday-Cheating

In a way I am cheating on my Movie Monday post because I posted this on FB last week but (as hard as it is to believe) not everyone I know is on FB. So this Movie Monday is more geared towards anyone that doesn't FB or isn't friends with me on FB. Although if you follow my blog, are on FB and we aren't friends ??? As most of you know Kaley is a TALKER (just like her momma!). However, she is also very shy. At MDO and swim lessons she is so quiet but talks about them at home all the time. So I thought I would video her talking about swim lessons so her instructors could see how much she loves it. Sorry to disappoint those of you who have seen this and were looking for a new video-I was sick today and was lucky to get this up.

Movie Monday-Ride 'Em Cowgirl

Ok so it's not the best Movie Monday post but I can't seem to find the video camera so I just had to use a couple of the videos I took on the regular camera. Anyways, the first two clips are of Kaley riding her horse. The first one is right after she got it and she is 13 or 14 months old and the second is from a few weeks ago...a little different in her riding style from then to now. The third clip is of Jaelynn on her duck and mimicking daddy's fake laugh. I just love the look she gives John at the very end! Hopefully I will find the video camera soon so I can take more video and post the ones I was planning on posting!

Movie Monday-My Girls

A new kind of Movie Monday post today. I already uploaded this on FB since blogger was down but to me it doesn't count unless it's on the blog! I need to document everything so when my memory begins to fail (and FB somehow goes under) I can come and read about it here. Just a "few" photos of my sweet little ones. It was just one of those times I couldn't decide which pictures to upload because I love them all for different reasons! The music was supposed to repeat and go through all of Jaelynn's pictures but there must have been some type of user error so just sing it to yourself as you watch the rest! :)

I am once again behind on my blogging! At least I have kept up with my Movie Monday posts! I hope that I continue to do this because it reminds me to take video of the girls as well as pictures. I have a ton of pictures to share (swim lessons, zoo, trip to Illinois, M/W lunches) but it will have to wait for another day! For now, enjoy my baby!

Movie Monday-Take 2

I would love it if I could get on a weekly routine of posting videos...2 weeks in a row so far! We will see how long this lasts!

I finally used the video mode on my (relatively) new DSLR today. It is definitely something I am going to have to practice using because you have to manually focus but I am excited to continue learning! Here is a very quick video of Kaley playing/falling in her pool from today. Needless to say the water was FREEZING (even after letting it sit in the sun for a while) but it didn't really phase Little Miss! She is definitely ready for summer.

I picked this clip because if you listen you can hear Jaelynn say "mama" in the background (at 21 seconds I think)! I know she doesn't associate it with me at this age but you know (all the mommies out there) how exciting it is when they finally start saying it! It is hard to believe that this little one already babbles more than Kaley did at this age and we all know what a talker Kaley is! I know that doesn't really mean she is going to be the same way but I can hope!
