John, Lee, Amy and I went to Las Vegas at the beginning of this month. It was John's birthday trip and we had so much fun! It was not really what I would call a relaxing vacation but it was great to get away from the chaos of life and just have fun. It was my first time to be away from Kaley so that was hard but thankfully my parents came in from Houston to watch her that week. Kaley had so much fun with her Granny and Pop!

Kaley has started crawling and is very fast! Her favorite thing is to chase Bayla anywhere and everywhere she goes! It is a new and fun time in the Vasel house with Kaley on the move but we are just enjoying every single moment!

Then it was off to Midland for Lindsey's wedding. We had so much fun and it is always great to see the girls again.

And last, but certainly not least...Michael Cash is one year old today! I cannot believe it. It seems like it has only been a few months. They really do grow up too fast. Dana, Michael and her parents all came in last weekend to have the first of many birthday parties for Michael. It was great to see them and really wonderful to be able to share this special time! Kaley enjoyed helping Michael open his presents as well as licking cake off his fingers! Hehe! I know she is too young for cake but it was so dang cute we couldn't resist!

In other news. I have officially started my new schedule of only working 3 days a week which means I am off Thursday-Sunday! WOOHOO! It has been a few months coming but I am so grateful that it is finally here! I am really going to enjoy getting to spend more time with my girl. Kaley and I are going to go to Little Gym this week and give it a try. I want to give Kaley some social time with other kiddos since she doesn't go to daycare or anything and it will also give me a chance to meet some other mom's with kids Kaley's age. It is a 10-18 month class so she may be the youngest but I am sure she will do great! Wish us luck! Kaley's great-Grammy is here for the weekend and we are having a great time. I am sure I will have more pictures to post later but I think this is enough for now. I wish you all a great and safe holiday weekend!
