I know I know, Jaelynn is already almost 2 days old and I haven't posted. Bad mommy! Well, the reason for that is because we decided that we wanted to come home from the hospital early so we left yesterday after we hit our 24 hour mark. We had to stay at least 24 hours for her PKU and such but after that both my Dr and Jaelynn's pediatrician said we looked great and could go home! So, we got home yesterday, early evening and are loving being home!
Back to the beginning...We went into the hospital at 6AM on Friday morning where they started me on my fluids and antibiotics (for being Group B Strep positive). At 7 my Dr came in and broke my water hoping that would start up my contractions. Well after having had contractions almost all night long my body decided it didn't want to have anymore. So, they had to start a slow pitocin drip to help get me started again until my body could take over and do the work. The Miracle Man (or anesthesiologist as some may call him) came in and gave me my epidural around 11 and everything was great! I took a nice almost 2 hour nap while waiting to dilate. When it was time to get the show on the road I pushed through maybe 4 contractions and out she came at 2:33PM! I could not believe how fast it was compared to Kaley! For those that don't remember I pushed for an hour and a half with Kaley and I think I pushed for maybe 15 minutes this time! She didn't have much of a cone head at all for being a vaginal delivery! I was amazed at how much she looks like her big sister and daddy! At some point I will post pictures of the two girls at birth so you can see the resemblances!

I was already dying for Christams and now I really can't wait! She is beautiful! Lemme know what you think of the jammies and dress...I've got my mom exchanging a couple of sizes but we should be good. I've also got her on scout for another fun "play" outfit...then I may have to be done :)
