Diamonds are definitely my best friend!

It was quite the weekend but I will save all of that and pictures for when I have more time.  Just to sum it up quickly.  Kaley (and mommy and daddy of course) had a great time with Pop, Granny and G.G. (I don't know how we are spelling that Bethany...).  Kaley is definitely in love with every man in her life and they are more than enamored with her!  Uncle Lee and Ashley got into town this evening so we have more fun times with visitors ahead!  Mother's day was awesome!  Daddy got up and cooked everyone an awesome breakfast!  We got Granny a Snuggie...you know you are jealous!!! But for those of you who really know my mom know that it was probably made specifically for her.  It was perfect. Kaley, Jaelynn and Daddy got me diamond earrings!!! WHOA!  I was definitely in shock.  We usually don't do big gifts for these holidays but apparently I was a REALLY good mommy this past year!  Hehe, I think this is counting as my birthday present too since I am pretty sure John and I agreed not to do presents this year since we are going to be buying a new car when Jaelynn comes...we shall see.  I am not so sure my hubby understands the whole no present thing.  You don't hear me complaining!  It was a nice relaxing day and I even got to spend a couple hours shopping with my mom and grandma while Kaley was napping.  We had a cookout at John's parents to celebrate with his mom this evening.  So, that was Mother's Day.  All in all it was a perfect way to spend the day!  I absolutely love being a mommy and feel like everyday I get to spend with my sweet baby girl is "Mother's Day"!
