Virginia Begins...

So far so good! We left the house yesterday morning at 6:30AM! Kaley was not really a big fan of having her beauty rest interrupted so early. She did a great job on the plane even being sleep deprived. We were fortunate enough to be on a plane that wasn't full so we were able to take Kaley's carseat so she could have her own seat. Daddy read her some books, played with the window shade and she had some snacks. She slept for about an hour on the plane and never cried! Yay for a good first leg of the trip! (Pray for a good second leg coming back on Saturday!)

When we finally got to Brett and Bethany's it was just time to relax and hang out with the family. Kaley is in love with the pups, Rosie and Jasper. She is definitely Little Miss Bossy. She walks around saying, "No, No Rosie." "No, No, Puppies." She wasn't very interested in Marley at first with all of the excitement of the puppies but by the end of the night she was giving her kisses and stroking her hair. So sweet!

This morning after breakfast we headed back over to Brett and Bethany's. Kaley and Marley had matching outfits on from Gymboree but it didn't last too long...I am pretty sure Uncle Brett spilled formula all over Marley on purpose so that they wouldn't match! Hehe, JK. Anyways, we got a few pics before the first change of clothes occurred. Shortly after Marley changed into another coordinating Monkey outfit, I was changing her diaper and she peed all over the second outfit and had to change into her third Monkey outfit! Luckily she owns about every article in the Gymboree monkey collection!
