Time Keeps on Tickin'

John has been hounding me to update the blog with pictures and I am just now getting around to it.  I know the last couple of posts didn't have pics so here are quite a few of my sweet Kaley!  we have been staying very busy this past month as we get ready for Jaelynn to join our family!  There has been lots of errand running, doctors appointments, spending time with friends and family, shopping, cleaning...

About to run errands with mommy!
How can you not pick this little one up when she comes at you like this?
Putting Bayla in her kennel before leaving.

Taking a quick little rest on her nap mat!

I don't even know what to say...
Pajama top, panties, sunglasses, mom's shoes, and her backpack...

At a cookout at Grandma and Gramps' when Uncle Richard and Aunt Kelly were in town.
Kaley made some new friends...
Laying in the grass with Jayden
Playing with glowsticks
Loving her Uncle AJ
Playing Duplos with Presley

Meeting up with Emy, Justin and Baby Hayden at the park!

The weather is finally starting to feel like Fall!
Ready for more errands and shopping with mommy and daddy!

Those last two photos are from Sunday when we went to the grocery store.  John made a comment about how he and I were in sweats and t-shirts and Kaley was all put together and looking cute!  I know that those of you with kids (especially mom's of girls) will understand the importance of making sure your little one looks as cute as can be with their outfit, shoes and hair even when you are not looking so hot!

Anyways, Kaley is doing really well.  Still talking up a storm and she amazes me each and every day by what she is able to do.  She absolutely loves to sing, dance, swim, run, jump, and play (I could go on and on)...She loves MDO and I am pretty sure she would go all day everyday if I let her!  She can sing you a song after only hearing it once or twice and I am so amazed at her fine motor and pretend play skills (yes, that is the therapist coming out in me). It is amazing the little things I am sure I would take for granted that she can do if I wasn't a therapist.  I won't go into detail but having Kaley is a great reminder to me of why I do what I do.  I don't want a parent to miss out on the pride you feel when your child picks up a crayon and draws a circle, or identifies the letters of their name.  Even if it comes a little later than "typical" I love the fact that I can help a child achieve those skills and bring that sense of pride to their own parents.

Well, my legs are just getting restless and I am having some contractions and need to get up and walk around so that's all for tonight!  I will probably not get around to posting again before Friday when Jaelynn comes but I will update as soon as I can.  Please keep us in your prayers on Friday as we welcome baby Jaelynn into our family!

Kaley seizes to amaze me as well, with her cuteness and clever sayings! It has been so fun to get to see her grow into such beautiful little girl, inside and out, these past couple of years. She is going to be such a great big sister, sisterhood is like nothing else! They will be best of friends!
ps love the letter from jaelynn
