I know I am a bit late but I wanted to post about Thanksgiving. Since I don't scrapbook this blog has become my way to document everything so I don't forget all of these special times.
This was the first time that we have hosted Thanksgiving so needless to say I was a little nervous. Not only was it my first time to host but we were having my family, John's family and my brother-in-law's family over for Thanksgiving dinner! So...how did it go? Well, I started planning back in September so you would think that would be plenty of time to get everything in order...I made the menu and had all of the shopping completed in plenty of time which definitely helped to not be too stressed. I had said that I wanted to eat at 2 (which really meant around 4 in my mind) and dinner was ready at about 3! YAY for me...only an hour after I said. The turkey turned out AWESOME thanks to a great recipe and some great advice from my aunt and uncle. Everything else was great too but the turkey was my biggest concern and it couldn't have been more perfect! It was such a great day with family and we have SO much to be thankful for this holiday season.
