A year ago today...

A year ago today we fell in love for the first time, again. God blessed us by adding a beautiful baby girl to our family. How could we have ever known how much our lives would change with this precious addition?

Jaelynn you are such a joy and bring so much love and laughter to our lives. You have grown from a sweet, peaceful newborn into a feisty, strong-willed, silly, spunky, happy, loving baby girl. You are always on the move-roaming, exploring, learning, chasing and fleeing! You love to play with your big sister, your puppy, mommy, daddy, family and friends; although, you also have a bit of a temper and show it when you don't get your way or get something taken away from you (which happens a lot because you are the little sister). You LOVE your big sister more than anything (I think)-you mimic everything she does, follow her around everywhere, you want to be around her all the time, and you laugh at her all the time. You love to give kisses whether they are big open mouth sloppy ones or tight lipped noisy "MMMMMMAA" ones. You are a great eater and sleeper (although mommy wishes you still took 2 naps) but I have a feeling getting you off the bottle could be a battle! You are already quite the "talker" with your own little language and even though we can't understand you, you never stop! You love to be outside and mommy is ready for you to be upright (walking) so that you don't have to crawl around all over the concrete and grass. You are definitely going to be a handful and we are ready and waiting for all the challenges you may present!

We have enjoyed watching you grow over the past year and are looking forward to seeing how you change and grow in the years to come. We love you and treasure every moment we get to spend with you! Happy Birthday Jaelynn Lee Vasel!
